Release Notes – April 2026
This release introduces AES Encryption for SRT Pull Streams, Ad Insertion for Scheduled Playlists, a revamped Scheduled Playlist experience, and Ad Break management for scheduled content across V4 and V5.

Feature: AES Encryption for SRT Pull Streams
- AES Encryption is now available for SRT Pull Streams, adding a layer of content security for pull-based ingest workflows.
Feature: Ad Insertion with Scheduled Playlist
- Ad Insertion is now supported directly within Scheduled Playlists, enabling monetization of scheduled streaming content end-to-end.
Feature: Revamped Scheduled Playlist (Beta)
- The Scheduled Playlist has been significantly overhauled for greater flexibility and control.
- Playlists can now loop up to a maximum of 100 times.
- ScheduleOnTime now supports
repeatInterval and repeatFor parameters (up to 100), enabling more precise and recurring schedule configurations.
- Introducing a new Ad Break management workflow for scheduled video content.
- Key capabilities include:
- Add ad breaks to scheduled videos with ease.
- Prepare and encode scheduled video files for optimized ad break selection, with support for key intervals down to 0.5 seconds for precise ad break point accuracy.
- Generate and Detect Ad Breaks automatically for accurate ad break point insertion.
- Configure Ad Schedule to embed ad markers into scheduled playlists for simple and seamless ad insertion.
