Release Notes – October 2025

This release brings a suite of enhancements across Dashboard V4, emphasizing improved video encoding performance, broader integration support, enhanced monitoring, and increased infrastructure capacity.

V4 Updates

Video Encoding

• Keep Aspect Ratio & Orientation Lock
• Improved video/audio sync when changing FPS
• HLS Segmentation -> Unified & fMP4 format added
• Validation for codec/profile/level/resolution/bitrate params for better encoder & decoder compatibility
• Encoder upgraded to 8.9 (improves encoding speed and error handling)

HTTP Pull

• Support for AWS S3-compatible storages using Signature v4 authentication

Live Transcode

• Added "tune" encoder options

Stream Monitoring

• Added real-time stream monitoring feature which can send status of stream if it goes down.

PoP Update

• Tokyo, Japan capacity increased to 10Gbps
