This release delivers significant advancements to our Content Delivery Network (CDN) service, focusing on enhanced programmatic control, optimized video delivery, and expanded live streaming ingestion capabilities:
API Enhancements for Content Management:
API Prefetch Content: Building on the Prefetch Content feature released in May, we are now providing a dedicated API for Prefetch Content. We're excited to announce the availability of an API for Prefetch Content, allow to pre-populate files to a CDN cache before users requests.
API Purge/Prefetch History: To complement our content management tools, an API for Purge/Prefetch History is now available. This allows you to track the status and details of all your purge and prefetch requests, including Purge ID, Type, File Count, Completion Status, and Creation Timestamp.
Advanced Video Content Optimization:
Expanded Input Ingestion Protocols:
We have significantly broadened our support for live streaming input ingestion. You can now seamlessly ingest streams using a comprehensive suite of industry-standard protocols, offering unparalleled flexibility and compatibility for your live broadcasting needs. New supported protocols include:
RTMPS (Real-Time Messaging Protocol Secure)
RTSP (Real-Time Streaming Protocol)
SRT (Secure Reliable Transport)
WebRTC WHIP (WebRTC-HTTP Ingestion Protocol)
Zixi
RIST (Reliable Internet Stream Transport)

Note: The enhancements outlined above have been implemented in Dashboard Version 4. We are actively working on bringing these capabilities to Dashboard Version 5, ensuring a consistent and improved experience across platforms.
