• Video Manager Basic & Advanced Encoding (Beta) Read More

  • Basic Encoding (Beta)

    • Users can now define a list of resolutions for video transcoding.
    • Each enabled resolution allows playback at different quality levels, adapting to connection speeds and player configurations.
    • Users can edit bitrates to fine-tune picture quality and bandwidth usage.

  • Advanced Encoding (Beta)

    • Provides deeper configuration options, including FPS, GOP, Container format selection and more.
    • Enables greater control over video encoding parameters for more customized output.

• Improved API Documentation

  • We've enhanced our API documentation to provide a more comprehensive and user-friendly experience.

• WordPress Detection and Plugin Integration

  • For users with WordPress-powered websites, our platform now automatically detects WordPress and provides a direct link to our WordPress plugin.
  • Configure, Install and Accelerate your WordPress website's performance with our optimized CDN solution.

• Segmenter Caching Control with Edge Rules

  • Introducing the new Segmenter Caching Rule in Edge Rules, allowing for precise control over HLS/DASH segment caching.
  • You will need to specify caching durations in seconds for manifest file and in minutes for segments at both Midgress and Edge caching level.

• Performance Improvements for HTTP/VoD Push Delivery

  • Significant improvements to Time To First Byte (TTFB) and file start times for HTTP delivery.
  • Enhanced HLS seeking time for VoD push, providing a smoother playback experience.

• Multistream Platform Support

  • Expanded multistreaming capabilities with support for 'Trovo', 'MixCloud', and 'Amazon Live' platforms.

New Edge PoPs (Enterprise)

• Expanded global reach with new Edge Points of Presence (PoPs) in Australia:Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, and Perth.

What's Changing?

• Dashboard Update: Flowplayer & VideoJS Embed Code Removal

  • We are removing the Flowplayer and VideoJS embed code options from the V5 Dashboard.
  • You will now find options for playback URLs and the 5centsCDN Player embed code only.
  • Important: This change does not affect existing videos embedded with Flowplayer or VideoJS. They will continue to function normally. This change only impacts the generation of new embed codes from the dashboard
